If you’re not sure which oral hygiene tools to pack with you on your trip, our Smile Center Silicon Valley team is more than happy to help you! For the best oral hygiene routine possible, we recommend packing the following things in your suitcase:
Travel toothbrush: Travel toothbrushes are very handy, so don’t forget to pack yours. Also, don’t forget to protect your toothbrush with a toothbrush cover while you are traveling. Keeping a cover over the bristles will help keep the germs and bacteria away. It’s also recommended to have a cover that has ventilation characteristics. That way your brush can dry out after you use it.
Travel toothpaste: If you are traveling on an airplane, you need to remember that your toothpaste can’t weigh more than 3.4 ounces. If it does, it will get confiscated. So, it’s best to pack a travel-sized paste that meets the weight requirements.
Floss: Make sure you pack your favorite floss with you so you can clean between your teeth each day. Floss can also come in handy if you don’t want a food-filled smile while you take pictures. All you need to do is floss after each meal and snack and you’ll be good to go!
Mouthwash: Mouthwash is another handy tool to have because it completes the cleaning job and keeps your breath fresh and pristine. However, you will also need to make sure and pack the travel-sized mouthwash because only 3.4 ounces is allowed on the airplane.
